Today, I received the exam results. alhamdullah I passed the exam with good score.

Back to desktop programming…

I used to program using VB in high school, and the time I joined my collage Delphi was introduced, we found that time things really good in delphi where it’s not in any other desktop programming ” in fact we didn’t have any another thing more than desktop programming 
“.
Later on, Web programming started to be very famous, and website started to pop up like popcorn, so it’s no only me who switch to website development, it was everybody. Anyway I started again with asp, but it was poor language, so I switch to java and php . and here we are with PHP.
Recently, I was thinking about new idea related to passwords and securing your passwords, so I tried to do something for desktop application using delphi.
Well, Delphi was good enough but I was fan of knowing new language. So I decided to learn .net programming. I picked C# as it’s nice syntax language ( stolen from Java :p).
And now I understand that if somebody would like to learn new programming language, it wont take more than a week to master it. website are rich of information for .net programming. So many samples here and there. You don’t need to use the tutorial comes with Visual studio , go google it and you will be amazed of what people enrich each other!!
Thanks to web, it was taking weeks and months to find solution for a small portion of code.
Yesterday was the CISA exam @ alkhobar
Friday, December 14th, 2007We finished the CISA exam yesterday, and nothing to do now more than just waiting for the result, CISA exam was scheduled 8th of December, and only for Khobar and Jeddah the exam was scheduled on 13th of December.
It was hectic day for us, traveling to alkhobar, and doing the exam and getting back.
Anyway, I hope we pass the exam. and become CISA

I worked for SAUDI NET for 7 years, and during those years I have participated in many success project with a great Technical team.
I learned a lot of technologies and we shared the the happiness and sadness. I’m listing the name of friends( since I left SAUDI NET ). and proud that I met.

Preparing for PMP Exam
Monday, April 23rd, 2007 The last week was my last week in my PM Diploma from Yamaha College, the passing exam was not too hard. And today I tried to fill the information at PMI to fill the required information for the PMP exam. As most of people who are interested in PMP certificate , PMI require from you a kind of documentation of all of the project for the past six years, not all of them but at least 4500 hours of them, and you will need to fill the information in very detailed web form ( the initiation Process-the hours for five tasks-, Planning Process-the same for planning tasks-, Executing Process, Controlling & Monitoring , Closing) . and that will last with you for 2-3 hours.
In fact I didn’t get the chance today to finish the form, since I need to recall some of the projects and the detailed information I can grab back from the dark ages , but I learned something from this. DOCUMENT YOUR WORK EXPERIENCE BY HOURS, you will benefit from it for so many things, not only for PMI requirements.
What is CISA?
Thursday, April 19th, 2007 Starting from Yesterday, my career has been changed to be something different than what I used to be , I got a new job + a new career, Information System Auditor!! .
One of recommended certificates for this career is CISA (Certified Information System Auditor).
I started finding some resources and books that will help me to be on track as fast as I can , and to get certified as soon as possible.
