In nortel official website the CEO was expressing a speech. For me, I see only one person to layoff first!! it is the CEO. While he is earning as much as 1000 employees salaries, he prefer with all executives to layoff the normal employee who was doing what was requested from blinded leaders called Executives!! it’s nice to express a speech like that to be emotionally living with them the hard time to stay home without job!.
Ladies and gentalmen, Nortel CEO speech:
“There is nothing more difficult than notifying employees, and Nortel is extremely conscious of the personal financial burden this will cause affected employees and their families,” said Mike Zafirovski, Nortel president and chief executive officer. “Nortel is a company driven by people and innovation. But with the unprecedented economic environment and resultant impacts on revenues, significant changes are required to regain our financial footing. Tough decisions are being made to restructure the company and work towards a successful emergence from creditor protection.”

فارتسمت في عينيه خيبة أمل تدل على أن 6 أشهر لازالت مقبولة.
فقال لي ، أنا لم أقرأ باختياري كتابا كاملا في حياتي!!

It’s a question anybody can ask, and it might be everybody answering it as normal “I’m working as a … for …. company”.

With respect to the answer that everybody used to say it, Does it mean they work only for living ? or most of people are working just because they got something they live for it and that thing needs money and that’s why they work.

The paradigm that I wish to shift to it, is to work because I enjoy that work or in the other way around if somebody would ask, he will ask what do you do for enjoyment and living?

Today I deployed at my server SER. It’s been long time that my brother Nasser is suffering from previous tool that does the SIP proxy to reach my telephony at home.
So I decide why I don’t try SER. the problem with SER is that there is no port for SER in freebsd ” Lazy Guy “. so I had to compile it again like the dark ages :p.
After the compilation, I went through some different configuration and guess what! it’s much simpler than SIProxD the previous tool I used to use.
In SER website, they provide you with also with a good simple reference to make you better in SIP protocol.

By installing SER, I gain one more function I never thought it will be nice feature In Nokia telephone there is a SIP phone, by having SER as my proxy, I can connect to my telephy outside home through GPRS or at least at work through WiFi.

At the end, Open Source is the magic.
