I’m running SER in one of my only servers to proxy my SIP calls to my trixbox at home. this is because I have my brothers acting a part of the extension @ home, so my mom wont bother where he is , she would call his extension and that’s it. ( He is in Australia ).

2 weeks back, my server went down for unknown reason. after getting it back. I couldn’t start SER again which is strange. anyway I thought may be some day I changed the configuration and that cause me to have an old clean version running while I have bad version saved in ser.cfg .

Finally, I fixed it again. But that’s after I decided to rebuild a new version and do the full configuration from zero. Honestly, I’m not good in SER. it was running for the last 15 months without any issue. even I couldn’t recall where is the configuration file.

و ما المانع ؟. أو ربما يجدر بي أن أسأل هل كانت البرمجة لديك مجرد واجب تؤديه أم أنها كانت حرفة يدوية ؟

لو رجعنا إلى الخلف قبل 70 سنة… Ùˆ نظرنا إلى حال الناس في كل أنحاء الأرض، للاحظنا أن الجميع يهتم بحرفته. فمنهم النجار ØŒ Ùˆ المهندس Ùˆ التاجر. أما هذا العامل الضعيف Ùˆ الذي سمي في العصر الحديث باسم مدير الإدارة الفلانية، فهو مجرد فقير Ùˆ عامل يعمل تحت إشراف التاجر أو النجار صاحب الحرفة الأصلية.

و ربما كان هذا التغيير لازما في مثل هذا العصر ، و لكن على الأقل لماذا يفقد المرء حرفته لمجرد أنه أصبح أجيراً يشرف على مجموعة من الأجراء، و هو لا يعمل أنه رجل مستخدم مثله مثل الأجير الذي يعمل تحت إدارته.

if you have a development enviroment, and each development code needs it’s own server, then again Try Xen for virtualization.

I was readiing about OpenVPN the last days. I discovered that even for good SSL VPN, you don’t need to buy Juniper one!!
OpenVPN is much better if you want to save money!!

قبل أيام ، كنت أشاهد احد الأخوة يقدم وهو يلقي موضوعا. و ما لفت انتباهي أننا مع كون نوعية المحتوى جيدا كان أم لا، لا نملك مهارة الإلقاء التي تجعل من المستمع و المشاهد متشيقا للإستماع إلينا.

فمثلا، تجده مثلا غير مرتب في الجمل، محاولة إضفاء جو مضحك غير موجودة في ثنايا جمله ، حتى لو حاول إضافتها.
لربما لاحظت أيضا ، كلمة أأأأأ أو كلمة أممم خلال جمله.

إن كان يقدم عرضا و خلفه شاشة تحمل كلمات ، تلاحظه يستخدمها ليتذكر أو ليقرأها أمام المحاضرين ، و كأن الحاضرين لا يعرفون القراءة.

رأينا في المدارس قديما الإذاعة . فماذا أفادت الإذاعة من كان يقدم فيها ؟ ببساطة أفادت في القدرة على القراءة من ورق دون تعتعة.
لم نرى المدارس الفرصة للطلاب حتى يقوموا بتجهيز موضوع كامل ثم يتم إلقاءه و نقد الملقي و توجيهه. ربما كان السبب أن مادة التعبير كانت تعنى بما قضيته في الإجازة الصيفية أو أسبوع الشجرة.

Today, I had a chat today with my friend Fahad. He informed me that he start to engage in different activities which will prevent him from going on as part time supporting the non-profit organization Almoslim.net.
